Noticias ⇒ Instant DNS Propagation
Google

Webhosting Website owners have always been hindered by the process of DNS propagation whenever they relocated their website to another web server. With the founding and operation of the OpenDNS project, it is now possible for a website owner to instantly update a DNS server with the ip address of the new server ip location. Yesterday, I moved a website domain to a new location. I reset the nameserver information at my domain registrar, updated the DNS information of my chosen (and not assigned) DNS nameservers and viewed the website at its new location - all within the span of 2 minutes! Never again will I have to wait hours for the DNS of a domain to propogate. Now you can too, and this is how.

You want to move your website to a new location, and you would like to view the website instantly at its new location. In short, you have to have opendns configured and working on your system. This is so easy folks, you do not install anything at all, you only add or replace a maximum of 24 characters (numbers) within your computer or, if you have a home network, a router. This article easily explains this short process. You browse to a location, add the opendns ip numbers:
208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
This completes step one.

I would recommend updating to opendns nameservers anyway. They do it better!

Step two: go to your registrar and reset the nameserver information with the new nameservers. This is not new and is normal.

At this point the dns propagation waiting process would begin. It usually takes anywhere between 24-72 hours for all the world's routers to be informed of the new home of your website. Why wait? Step 3: go to OpenDNS CacheCheck and manually update their dns nameservers. Once their servers are updated, you will view your site at its new location.

At this point in time, no other organization has a dns tool such as this. If you have not heard of opendns, then check them out.
