TERMS OF SERVICE (TOS)
This is an agreement between us, Transhost.org, and you, the customer.
Section 1.0 - What you
can NOT do:
Host content of an inappropriate or illegal nature. Including
but not limited to:
1.1 - Inappropriate Materials, Adult oriented (pornography), Racist or
inciting of hate or violence,
1.2 - Sending SPAM (unsolicited email),
1.3 - Operate a proxy server,
1.4 - WAREZ, copyrighted materials,
1.5 - Abuse of System, any abuse of our server(s) including but not
limited to: use of excessive CPU resources (Internet Relay Chat
scripts), hacking Transhost.org systems or any other activity which may
compromise the usability or security of Transhost.org systems,
1.6 - Any other action which Transhost.org, at our discretion, deems
inappropriate.
Section 2.0 - What you
must do:
2.1 - Backup your data!
This cannot be emphasized enough. It is your responsibility
to maintain backups of your data on a remote computer. If
your data is critical, maintain backups of your backups.
Transhost.org will not be held liable or responsible for lost
data. Transhost.org does not guarantee to possess the most
current copy of a Customer's data or files. This may happen due to
server changes, or datacenter operations.
2.2 - Use a Secure Password!
The Customer must ensure that their account is protected with a secure
password. Use a password generator if you need to.
Do not reveal or disclose this or any password to any third
party. If you access your account from a public computer, be
sure to "Logout", not just close the browser. Also, make sure
that the browser does not remember your account name and password
combination.
2.3 - Control your account! The customer is responsible for
their account and all actions performed under it.
2.4 - Pay your bill. All accounts must be settled within
fourteen (14) days from the date of invoice. Failure to settle your
account within fourteen (14) days may result in services being
suspended and your account being locked. Failure to settle your account
within twenty-eight (28) days from the date of issue of a relevant
invoice may result in your account being deleted.
Section 3.0 - Support
3.1 - Our support department is not currently manned 24/7.
However, we are online several hours each day. We will
respond to each and every support ticket submitted as soon as possible
but patience is requested.
3.2 - Transhost.org may assist a customer in the data transfer of a
large script or program. The downloading will be done free of
charge but carries with it no liability and it will not be installed
free. This is to assist a customer that does not have access
to a broadband internet connection. If a customer wishes to
utilize this free service, a script or program will be downloaded and
placed into their account. It will be the responsiblity of
the customer to submit a link to the program, install the program, and
maintain the program. This shall apply to open source scripts
only. Transhost will install the script for a fee of 10.00
(Euro or US Dollar).
3.3 - If a customer has a large amount of data to be placed on the
server, Transhost will accept a CD or DVD through the mail service to
be placed onto the web server.
Section 4.0 -
Transhost.org
4.1 - We will pass on to the customer any additional charge incurred as
a result of a rejected payment.
4.2 - Reserves the right to change prices at any time. If so,
we will give an adequate notice of price changes.
4.3 - Any violation of this TOS (Terms of Service) is subject to an
immediate suspension of your account with a forfeiture of all monies
paid. No Refunds!
4.4 - Billed Service in terms of web design, script installation, or
for abnormal service will not be refunded.
4.5 - Will not be held liable for datacenter downtime. This
includes but is not limited solely to Denial of Service attacks (DDOS),
system upgrades or maintenance.
4.6 - Authorizes you to view, download, and interact with materials,
services, and forums on this website. Unless otherwise specified, the
services & downloads provided by Transhost.org are for your
personal and/or commercial use, provided that you retain all copyright
and other proprietary notices contained in the original
materials. We accept no responsibility for any harm done to
any computer system by the use of any scripts acquired from this site.
4.7 - These Terms Of Service are subject to change and will immediately
take effect without notice or warning to customer. Please know and
abide by them.
Section 5.0 - Other
Considerations
5.1 - If violations of this Terms of Service, from a customer, results
in server downtime by the datacenter, we will not provide compensation,
though we will assist in repairing services and render assistance.
5.2 - Customer complaints may be addressed to
Administrator. Rudeness and disrespect will not be
tolerated by our staff. If this section (5.2) is violated, we
may terminate or suspend your account for any given amount of
time. Refunds will not be given. We want only
satisfied customers. If you are not satisfied, let us
know. We provide you with a very customer friendly refund
policy. Use it before you feel the need to be rude or
disrespectful.
